I’m sure most of us in the Agile space have had the call from an off-shore office with a job request for an Agile Coach or something resembling it. It usually gets mixed up in some crazy Wagafall or Wagile way.
Today I got the best or maybe the worst ever from a company called Mastech Holdings, a churn and burn staffing company. It was for an Agile Coach in Hartford contacting to Accenture for Cigna. I’ve cut and paste the email. I’ve put the offered rate at the bottom. This type of recruiter is one of the biggest problems facing Agile today. I’ve worked with some of these supposed ‘Agile Coaches’ and it’s a disaster that hurts the whole discipline and skill set. Certification from dubious online companies, fake resumes and questionable ethics.
There are hundreds of the emails that go out every week for the churn and burn shops usually from off-shore with unrealistic pay scales. You get what you pay for.
The end customer gets a cheap price and 100’% of the time gets a train wreck that fails to get Agile off the ground.

-Using the Agile CoE assets such as agile training, playbooks, assessments, etc.
-Coaching teams on how to set up and leverage Agile project management tool (Rally) for epic/feature/stories and inward and outward reporting
-Support Community of Practice (CoP) by actively engaging and contributing to best practices
-Act as an enterprise evangelist of agile ceremonies, practices and values
